COVID-19 Vaccine – Children

All children and youth aged 6 months to 17 years can receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Only mRNA vaccines are approved for use in children and youth. These appointments can be booked through any of the following channels:

  • COVID-19 Vaccination Portal
  • Public Health Units using their own booking system:
  • Participating pharmacies (children are eligible to receive their vaccine through this channel)

Please note, SAFHT is not currently offering COVID-19 vaccine for children, however, with this announcement we are evaluating how we can best support our patients and will provide further updates through our website, social media and email.
